BloInflatable Installation
Vellum Furniture Exhibition
2014

Blo is a queer object.

Blo exists in a non-category, somewhere between a space, a useful object, and a blob-like form with agency.

Blo is inflatable, occupiable, and portable. It does not expect use, nor does it reject use.

Blo captures the environmental vibrations, sounds, and noises and manifests them through flickering lights and clicks.

Blo is honest. It is proud in its inflating qualities and makes sure the user is aware of those qualities by constantly reminding them.

Blo is agnostic to where it’s deployed but once deployed, has no problem growing into its environment.
